Toursick Part 2

            Silverstein, Enter Shikari, August Burns Red, Go Radio and A Day To Remember, I think that with that said it's enough to know that this was an amazing show... but I'll be nice and be a little more detailed. This show was the last of the Toursick 2010 Tour, Lucky me I got to see the bands first show in Ft Lauderdale and this the last. Being the last show of the tour meant the bands wanted to have their fun and play some pranks. The first person to go on stage was someone with a wig that looked like he belonged in KiSS, he claimed to have horrible grammar and changed the bands name, I cant recall the names just that when he mentioned A Day To Remember he called them A Day To Not Be Forgotten, lol. After him Go Radio took the stage, the other bands prank to them was throwing streamers while they played. Enter Shikari was extremely fun to watch, this guys were dared to take shots after each song and after the third or so they all seemed a bit hyper than they were when they first began, the guitar player jumped in the crowd more than once as well as the singer, the way the other band members pranked them was by grabbing chairs and sitting in stage to watch the end of their set. For Silverstein their first prank was taping Shanes mic to the mic stand so he had to drag the mic stand with him when he tried moving around, and after this they tried taking Pauls drumset and changing it while he played but that kinda failed and he just ended up with two drum sets which ended up giving eveyone something to bang on since Shane and Bill (?) also got drum sticks in the end. I am not really sure if there was a prank for August Burns Red or a dare but I remember seeing the singer change his shirt to each of the bands shirts, he began with a white shirt and chaged from that to Silversteins band shirt, then Enter Shikari, ADTR and on. After August Burns Red Played finally A Day To Remember took the stage and as expected gave an amazing performance and unexpectedly while they played A Second Glance some guys jumped off the stage with floats and crowdsurfed on them, I really couldn't tell whether they were other band members or friends but it was pretty fun to watch, and last but not least when they sang If It Means A Lot To You since Sierra wasn't there to sing this time one of the guys took a wig and some fake boobs and came on stage dressed as a girl and sang and shook his booty lol. I will probably upload some vids once I get a chance. This was definitely worth the 4 hour drive from Miami to Orlando.

Since forever I keep telling myself I will take more self portraits but lately I just keep pushing it aside.

I guess I haven't been feeling too pretty plus the fact that whenever I am not busy with work and all I have company and I am more comfortable taking pictures alone, still today was the day. I finally took some time for myself and planned some simple outfits and this was one of my fave pics out of the bunch :)

Stay Gold

I got these nail colors at the mall on the weekend.

One is a goldish brown or old gold like mom said and the other is purple.

So I'll stay true to myself and stick to this gut feeling that says to stay away. I will not fake it. Everything that's meant to happen will find its way, I know it. There's a reasons things have gone the way they have and I won't regret my decisions but I'll learn from your mistakes. Happiness can only be found when looking past imperfections and with new eyes I'll see a brighter future. I hope you can say the same for yourself even when I will no longer be part of yours.

D'you know you know I love you so?

Today I spent the day with Midget and the pops. We went to the mall and walked around a bit, dad got me some socks, some new nail colors and bought himself a cologne. We then had some BK and headed home. It wasn't the most fun I've had at a mall but it felt nice to spend some time together.

I was feeling quite sucky and pretty unlucky but just like this Duckie I am actually lucky!

Cause I am not a Hawtcher Bee Watcher, nor Professor de Breeze teaching ducks Jivanese, or Herbie Hart who's Throm-Dim-Bulator he took apart which was really, not very smart.

Finally fridayy!....ehm, right.

   Today was such a bad day in so many ways. For a whole minute I felt my world was going to crash, but god is mercyful and gave me a chance. I guess this was just a way of him shaking me a little so I could wake up and see all that I need to be thankful for. I am glad to be able to learn from my mistakes... or well not really mistakes but the experiences  have. My night didn't go as planned but I am not too bothered. I am thinking with a different mind set.

This will go straight to your A%# !...

Today was uneventful, just work then came home and helped the auntie try and figure out how to use Windows Movie Maker etc. Its not so easy to explain things through the phone so I ended up going to bed like at 11 without much process. Effin webcam didn't work as I'd hoped. sighs. Hopefully next time it does :)

Sunday ... FUN Day?

Today was more of a creative day. I spend the day home, cleaned a little, watched some movies and gave this little box a makeover :)

I got this box from the lovely Angie Pangie and it was too pretty to get rid of but I really didn't know what to use it for since I already have a memories box....but I guess I'll change my stuff to this box and use the other box for my ribbons or something of that sort. I love how this box came out. I am not very into pink but I love this mix.

Sunny Miami :)

Ah, today was a good day, Sary and I went to the beach with a friend of hers who's name I totally forgot. Ooops. Anyways, as we are driving to the beach we started talking about Camila, the trio (my newest obsession lol). They were performing a song on this show we both know about so I was thinking of going but then it seemed like a waste of time since it was only one song and its a very long show, so long story short, she had the newest cd by them! YAY!! So on our way to the beach we listened to most of the cd and we loved the same songs so we all sang along. This was great, the beach was pretty frikken cold, it felt like a Cali beach and not Miami, the water was wayy too cold for my taste. So we spent some time tanning and talking then hit the road and got something to eat before we both went home to do our own stuff, I had scheduled a photoshoot with the lovely momma to be Bertha and she had an appointment with her hairstylist. For the night I watched Burn After Reading... okay I love me some indie movies with odd ending and odd stories, but I must say I didn't enjoy this movie very much. I expected a lot more from it. From now on I am seriously telling people to keep movie comments for themselves cause then I get hyped up for movies and feel dissapointed when they're not as good. 

I'll be watching a few more movies tomorrow so we shall see how that goes :)

 Earth Dayyy!

Today I decided that to celebrate mama earth's birthday I would buy a new bike and spend some time outside. I told the mom and as soon as I was out of work we both drove to Wal*mart, she kept asking what it is that I wanted but I just kept her guessing until we got closer to the bikes and she finally caught on, at first she was a bit surprised but  she went along with the idea and she actually got one herself! hah! Anywayz, interesting little story!, once we got to the car it was a mission to fit them in the trunk so we thought we'd take one in the trunk and the other in the back seat.....uh yeah that wasn't working so this guy stopped and asked if we needed help, which we totally did!. He helped us put both bikes in the trunk and gave us this rope he had so it could hold the bikes in place. This which was something we kinda weren't thinking about. It totally made my day!, to see people who still care to help others makes my little corazoncito very happy :)
